The Should Audit Retreat

The Should Audit Retreat is a chance to pause, take a breath, and get honest about the expectations, pressure, and stories you’ve been carrying that may not even belong to you anymore. Together, we’ll dig into the “shoulds” that shape how you move through your life, your choices, your relationships, and the way you see yourself.

What’s in it for you?

  • You’ll take a closer look at the expectations, pressure, and “shoulds” you’ve been carrying so you can get clearer on what feels true for you in this season of life.
  • This retreat gives you dedicated space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself without the usual distractions, pressure, or need to have it all figured out.
  • You won’t leave with just a nice conversation. You’ll walk away with prompts, reflection exercises, and takeaways that can help you keep doing this work long after the retreat ends.
  • You get to do this with women who understand that midlife can be beautiful, messy, funny, disorienting, and all the things. You don’t have to do this work alone and you definitely don’t have to have it all figured out before you walk in.

Real connection is hard to find. Consider this your people. Some days you’ll show up with a lot on your mind. Some days you’ll just show up. Both are perfect.

Wrinkles welcome. If you're looking for another expert telling you how to live your life, you won't find that here.

If you're looking for a community of midlife women figuring it out together - real, messy, imperfect - you're home.

So what is PocketPeg?

It's a wellbeing and community platform for women in midlife who are done with the BS and ready to show up as themselves. We meet monthly for real conversations, share resources that actually matter, and create space where you can exhale and be seen for who you really are - not who you think you should be. This isn't a place where we tell you what to do or how to fix yourself. It's a place where we support each other in figuring out our own paths.

Here's how I got to PocketPeg and what I know to be true:

  1. I want women to feel good - all women. Simple concept, not easy execution. 99% of us doubt everything from our abilities to our worthiness.
  2. Midlife comes with real challenges - menopause, identity shifts, career stagnation, empty nests, aging parents, bodies that don't cooperate like they used to. But here's what else is true: midlife isn't an ending, it's a beginning. This is when we finally get to shed the expectations and become who we actually are. The best years aren't behind us; they're right now.
  3. Women need each other to continue to grow, develop, and kick ass. We do better together, and as a result, everyone around us does too.
  4. We're peers, not gurus. I'm not here to tell you how to live your life. I'm here to walk beside you, share what I've learned, and create space for us to figure this out together.
  5. Let go of the should. We don't need any more noise telling us what or how to do/be/act.
  6. Who you are inside is what matters. I don't care about the size of your house or the title on your business card. What matters is who you really are - flaws, quirks, should-free, and all.
  7. Authentic connection only. Life's too short for surface-level conversation. I'm here for real connection and honest talk.
  8. Health and wellbeing aren't negotiable. They're the foundation for everything else.
  9. We all carry Head Trash. Those limiting beliefs, that inner critic, the stories we tell ourselves about what we can't do or who we're not allowed to be. Let's name it, work through it, and stop letting it run the show.
  10. Just be me. Laugh, be silly, work hard, show up smart - all of it.

I'm a highly flawed person who learned early to never let on that I was anything otherwise. Living like that is exhausting. I've done a better job these last 15 years of being vulnerable and real, but I still have work to do. I want us all to do this work together - show up as ourselves, lean on each other, and thrive. Real over perfect, always.

On a practical level? I'm here to help you cut through the clutter. There's so much great information out there for personal development and wellbeing that it's overwhelming. I'll curate what matters so you don't have to wade through the noise. And PocketPeg is a space for growth and change - whatever that looks like for you. Whether you're ready to dive deep or you just need a safe place to breathe, that's exactly where you should be. No timelines, no pressure.

I love helping women grow, develop, and increase their overall wellbeing. Between lived experiences, lots of therapy, mountains of health and personal development reading, and decades of professional work, I'm here to share what I know - the skills, knowledge, and expertise I've gathered.

Do I want to make change for women in the world? Absolutely. And if it's for one woman, I've succeeded. Quality over quantity.

Nice to meet you, and welcome to PocketPeg. We've got this.

What You’re Joining

You get simple daily tools to check in with yourself - notice what’s going on, release the noise inside your head and out, empty the shoulds, and make room for what you actually want.  Drop voice notes when you need to say something out loud.  Every month, we dive into a new theme, from clearing head trash to rediscovering what lights you up by providing tools, frameworks, and real conversations that move you forward.  And twice a month, we all show up live for a 60-minute community call to go deeper together. (Recorded if life gets in the way, and we know it will.)

What Makes This Different

No make-up required.  No pretending everything’s okay.  No keeping score.  Just real women being honest about midlife.  The hot flashes, the sleepless nights, the forgotten thoughts, the unexplained pounds, the hard parts, the confusing parts, the “who the hell am I now” parts, and yes, even the good parts.

Humor might just be the most underrated tool in the midlife toolkit.

Connection without competition.

And, it’s cheaper than therapy. (We love our therapists too.)

Wrinkles welcome. Leave your shoulds at the door.

You're Invited to Join the PocketPeg Community!

If you want to face life's challenges with the tools you need, but aren't feeling the prescribed frameworks or the list of "healthy" and "successful" habits... then this one's for you!

We ditch pretense and polish.  We do real connection and instead are a community and sisterhood that looks like this:

- Real heart-felt conversations with each other

- A committed community where we can just be ourselves

- Permission instead of pressure

- Connection without competition

- Space for personal growth, inner peace, and better balance

- Peg's famous muffin recipe (this alone is worth joining!)

WE MAY GET SERIOUS, BUT NOT ABOUT OURSELVES

Yes, we'll dig into the real stuff — the pivots, the reinventions, the things we don't usually say out loud. But we do it with a wink. Because humor might just be the most underrated tool in the midlife toolkit.
